Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, insurance, etc., necessary to replace the existing HVAC system at the Long Hill-Pasadena Forestry Work Center (FWC) at 8023 Long Hill Road, Pasadena, MD 21122. Scope of the project shall include, but is not limited to the following: Removal of the existing heat pump, fan coil unit, freon lines, and controls. Replace with a new high-efficiency electric heat pump, fan coil unit w/heat pack, freon lines, and system controls. The new fan coil unit will connect to the existing ductwork which shall be cleaned by a professional duct cleaning company as part of this project. Remove and dispose of the three (3) wall-hung electric heaters in basement. Electrical wires and conduit for heaters shall be disconnected at the source electrical panel, removed and disposed of. Knock-out seals shall be installed on panel box for all removed conduit connections. Install a new electrical circuit to the fan coil unit for a new GFCI duplex receptacle to service a new condensate removal pump. The contractor shall provide a state certified, third-party inspection and approval of this work prior to final acceptance and project close-out. Properly dispose of construction debris from the job site and leave it in pre-construction condition. All quantities and sizes listed above are approximate. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining measurements for the project and bidding purposes. QUALIFICATIONS OF THE CONTRACTOR: The Contractor shall be licensed in the State of Maryland in accordance with COMAR Regulations. The Contractor shall have a minimum of three (3) years' experience performing similar projects. Upon request, the Contractor shall supply a list of similar projects, which have been completed, to the DNR Procurement Officer for review. All mechanical work shall be performed by a licensed HVAC contractor approved to perform work in the State of Maryland. All electrical work shall be performed by a licensed Electrical contractor approved to perform work in the State of Maryland.
