PRIMARY SPECIFICATIONS SCOPE - The County of Santa Barbara Public Works Department, through its Procurement Services Division, seeks a contractor to repair and recompact damaged slopes at the Santa Ynez Valley Recycling and Transfer Station/Foxen Canyon Closed Landfill, as further specified. PROJECT LOCATION - 4004 Foxen Canyon Road, Los Olivos, CA 93441. Answers to IFB Questions published by County via Public Purchase September 13th, 2024 PROJECT TASKS AND REQUIREMENTS- To accomplish this Agreement's purpose, the awarded contractor will meet the requirements and perform the following tasks throughout the course of this Agreement: 1. Repair and recompact landfill final cover damaged by a winter storm. 2. Relocate and compact stockpiled soil. 3. Provide a jute fiber/natural fiber blanket for erosion control on disturbed areas. Refer to Attachment C for further project specifications, photographs, and diagrams. EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS - CONTRACTOR shall furnish all tools, equipment, apparatus, labor, materials, workmanship, transportation, and services necessary to perform and complete the job at the designated location as per the specifications. SITE CLEAN UP - Contractor shall be responsible for disposal of all construction debris. Contractor shall clean up and remove all debris and rubbish resulting from their work as required or directed. Upon completion of the work, the premises shall be left in good repair and an orderly, neat, clean, safe and unobstructed condition.
