Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lincoln, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

All contractors must be prequalified by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) for a class of work "Pavement Surfacing". The Contract shall commence on or about October 1, 2024, and shall remain in effect through June 30, 2025. All work shall be substantially complete by November 15, 2024, with final completion and acceptance by Friday, June 30, 2025. Tree Removed - including Stump (12" to 24" diameter), Drain Manhole, Drainage Structure Rebuilt, Repair Road Shoulder, 12" HDPE Drain Pipe , 6" Reclaim, In-Place Hot Mix Asphalt Surface Course (SSC-12.5), HMA/Bituminous Berm Reclaim, Milling & Pavement Specifications: A. All Pavement Milling/Reclaiming and Placed Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) shall conform to the applicable requirements and provisions ofthe Commonwealth ofMassachusetts, Standard Specifications for Highway and Bridges, published by the MassDOT Latest Edition, including any and all addenda and supplemental Specifications and the Contract documents as amended herein. This includes binder. B. The finished area shall be completed in a workmanlike manner satisfactory to the Highway Superintendent or his authorized representative. Roadways to be reclaimed include: S-3 o Pierce Hill Road o Tower Road between Lincoln Road and Beaver Pond Road o Round Hill Road. o Hawthorne Circle Drain Manholes, Catch Basins, 12" HDPE Pipe Bituminous/HMA Berm Specifications: A. Bituminous/HMA Berm shall be placed at the locations shown on the Contract Plans, and where directed by the Town. Berm details are shown on the Contract Plans. B. The Contractor shall make every effort to install the berm as specified. An alternate berm shall only be used with the express approval ofthe Town ofLincoln prior to installation. C. Preparation for installation ofthe Berm, including berm pads, shall be incidental to the berm item.
