SCOPE OF WORK: Line Item 0001: Tear Out Articulated Concrete Block Mattress and Excavate Trench 1. The contractor shall remove any water, grass/weeds, debris, and existing articulated concrete mattress gutter system. 2. Remove unsuitable fill material below existing articulated mattress as specified in the design drawings. 3. The contractor shall excavate the trench in accordance the proposed contour as illustrated in the design drawings. 4. All waste material must be removed off site. See Sheets CD101, CS101 - CS103 for plan views, details, and stations on tearing out the articulated concrete block mattress. Remove the mattress according to the attached drawings and specifications. See Sheets CS101 - CS103, CS105, CS201, CG401 - CG402 for plan view, elevation views, and cross sections. Drawings will show proposed grade, necessary depths, and details for excavation. Removal includes approximately 400 linear feet of existing articulated mattress.
