The City of Hamilton is planning an energy efficient, lifecycle upgrade to the interior and exterior lighting systems at the Central Composting Facility located at 1579 Burlington Street East, Hamilton, Ontario. The retrofit plan largely involves the replacement of fluorescent, metal halide, and compact fluorescent fixtures with new LED luminaires. The Work also includes the installation of integral occupancy sensors, vacancy sensors and photocells. Limited electrical wiring and device installations are also part of the improvement.
