Site work for a civil project in Mount Pleasant Mills, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Contract No. 1: Perry Township Municipal Authority Water System Improvements The project shall consist of the construction of approximately 300 linear feet of security fencing, complete with gates and all appurtenances, ten (10) pipe bollards to protect the well head, control building, and tank. A six (6) inch hot tapped valve is to be placed on the storage tank discharge line. Estimated Contract Value: $30,000 Question Deadline 09/20/2024 at 4:00 PM ET Location online portal. The project is being financed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority Covid-19 ARPA Small Water and Sewer Program. Compliance with Act 127 of 2012 requiring all contractors and subcontractors to use e-Verify for verification of employment eligibility for all employees will be required. Verification forms shall be provided to the Perry Township Municipal Authority as a precondition of being awarded a contract. Wage Rates shall be in accordance with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor, PA Prevailing Wage Rates, included within the bid documents. The General Municipal Law of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania requires Bidders certify, under penalty of perjury, the Bids have been prepared without collusion with other Bidders, subcontractors, suppliers, etc. A certification is included with the Bid Proposal that each Bidder must sign in the space provided. The successful Bidder agrees to make a documented good faith effort to utilize Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and Women's Business Enterprises (WBE) for at least 10% of the dollar value of the contract. The owner herewith acknowledges its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and ensures this project will prohibit against exclusions from participation and protect people from discrimination based on race, color, and religious creed, ancestry, national origin, age or sex. The Successful Bidder will be required to execute the Agreement and to furnish evidence of insurance coverage, and respective forms provided in the Bidding Documents. The Successful Bidder will be required to comply with the American Iron and Steel Act and provide documentation Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term "iron and steel products" means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and Construction Materials.
