A. Work Covered by Contract Documents 1. Work is to include furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment, and performing all Work necessary for this construction project as detailed in the Drawings and Specifications. B. Incidental Work Any and all Work specifically governed by documentary requirements for the project, such as conditions imposed by the Contract Documents in which no specific item for bid has been provided for in the Proposal, then the item shall be considered as an incidental item of Work, the cost of which shall be included in the price bid in the Proposal for various bid items. Question Deadline 09/23/2024 at 1:30 PM CT SRTS Sidewalks and TASA Side-Path Improvements Each bid submittal must be accompanied by an acceptable hard copy bid bond payable without recourse to the City of Denton, Texas in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid submitted as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute a performance bond, a payment bond, and insurance certificate within ten (10) days after the notification of the award. Local, minority, and small business vendors are encouraged to submit bids. The City of Denton, Texas reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive defects in bids.
