Liquid caustic soda shall contain approximately 50% sodium hydroxide (NaOH) and meet or exceed the current effective American Water Works Association Standard B501. Liquid caustic soda shall be shipped by tank truck into a 10,000-gallon storage tank through a 3" delivery line/connection at the Water Treatment Plant unloading site or into a 6,500-gallon storage tank through a 2" delivery line/connection at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. various departments in the City of Alliance for the period of October 1, 20o24, through December 31, 2024. At 12:00 noon on September 13, 2024, Each bid must be made on the form provided and must contain the names, addresses, and e-mails of all parties interested. As a security, if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and a performance bond in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), made payable to the City of Alliance will be required. The Board of Control reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all formalities, and to accept the bid considered lowest and best for the City.
