Substantial Completion Date: April 30, 2025 The scope of work is generally described as construction of a 2,400 S.F. Pre-Engineered Metal Building (No Electric, HVAC or Plumbing). The Project consists a new one-story pre-engineered metal building for cold equipment storage. The Engineer's Estimate for the Project is $245,000.00 All proposals shall be sealed and endorsed for the Knox Township Cold Storage Building and delivered to the address shown above by hand delivery or received by mail prior to the opening date and time. The bidders may be required to give references and such other detailed information as will enable the owner to judge responsibility, experience, skill, and financial standing. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a bond with an approved surety company in the sum of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the bid as surety for the execution of the contract. A certified check drawn on some solvent bank and made payable to the Knox Township Trustees, in the sum of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid will be accepted in lieu of said bond. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids or to increase or omit any item(s), and to waive any informalities or irregularities in bids and to award to the lowest and best responsible bidder.
