Construction of a wellhead treatment facility for the City of Garden Grove to remove the Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contaminants at Well 19 before furnishing the water to their customers. The Water Treatment Plant include the work shown on drawings and technical specifications and summarized as follows: 1. Selective demolition 2. Site development 3. Masonry Construction 4. Fence removal and reconstruction 5. Foundations 6. Cartridge Filters 7. I/X Vessels installation (Furnished by OCWD) 8. Electrical and I&C conduits, wiring, gear and ancillaries 9. Piping and appurtenances 10. Well rehabilitation 11. Well pedestal reconstruction 12. Well pump replacement Each Bid shall be accompanied by one of the following: a certified or cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, payable to the Orange County Water District, as a guarantee that the Bidder, if its Bid is accepted, shall promptly execute the Agreement, furnish a satisfactory Faithful Performance Bond in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price, furnish a Labor and Material Bond in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price, and furnish certificates evidencing that the required insurance is in effect in the amounts set forth in the Insurance Conditions.
