The work to be performed under this contract includes removal, replacement, preparation, and installation of hot asphalt to repair large transverse cracks in identified areas in the northeast section of the City of Commerce City. Description of the Work: The work to be performed under this contract includes removal, replacement, preparation, and installation of hot asphalt to repair large transverse cracks identified areas in the northeast section of the City of Commerce City per the specifications as part of this RFB. Some patch locations may require subgrade repair with geo-textile grid or Class 6 base material or a combination of both. The Contractor shall supply all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the work in accordance with the Contract Documents, as that term is defined in the General Conditions found attached to the Construction Contract Agreement. The Contractor will be required to coordinate construction activities with the City, Republic Services, school districts, special districts, HOAs and Metro Districts, as applicable. Location of the Work: Additional crack repair locations will be added based on additional areas identified by Commerce City staff. The Project Manager will provide the Contractor with the location, type, and quantity of work to be performed on an authorized Work Identification Form. The Project Manager shall establish the final location and quantities of Work.
