Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sandy Oaks, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The project generally consists of reconstructing approximately 352 LF of existing drainage channel by regrading ditch surface, replacing 1 driveway culvert, and sod-lining approximately 5,017 SY of finished channels. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Sandy Oaks may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The City requires Payment and Performance Bonds in 100% of the contract amount. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award. All contractors/subcontractors that are debarred, suspended or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation on federal assistance programs may not undertake any activity in part or in full under this project.
