As of October 3, 2024, project was awarded to Premier Fence, LTD but awarded amount is not available. The project consists of Ector County accepting proposals for the purpose of building a security fence for the Ector County Courthouse. Build 8' Tall 9 gauge chain link security fence with three strand of barb wire to enclose the north east grounds of the courthouse and the municipal parking area. The grounds area has a berm creates a higher elevation that will need approximately 10 LF. of 12' fence with three strands of barb wire to secure the area where there is a difference in elevation. This project will include two 4' X 12' tall wall gates, one 6' X 8' tall walk gate, and two 12' cantilever drive through gates. Install two gate operates. and one exit loop. Both drive gates to have safety photo eyes. All keypads to be done by others. All electrical to be done by others. This project will ensure the security of judges and employees in the Ector County Courthouse, before, during and after work hours. The project will eliminate the general public trying to enter other areas besides the designated security entrances.
