As of October 25, 2024, project was awarded to Edgardo Madrid & Associates, awarded amount is $6,329,901.29 Accordingly, the County and Ector County Utility District (ECUD) are seeking to contract with a qualified construction company to complete major water distribution projects. These services are being solicited to assist ECUD in its project execution of ARPA contract(s), to support eligible activities in Ector County. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit proposals. RFPs from responsible bidders will be evaluated by the lowest responsive Bid. In evaluating whether a Bidder is responsible, Owner will consider the qualifications of the Bidder to complete public potable water infrastructure projects and may consider the qualifications and experience of Subcontractors and Suppliers proposed for those portions of the Work for which the identity of Subcontractors and Suppliers must be submitted as provided in the Bidding Documents. Owner may conduct such investigations as Owner deems necessary to establish the responsibility, qualifications, and financial ability of Bidders and any proposed Subcontractors or Suppliers.
