THE PROJECT GENERALLY CONSISTS OF the milling, placement of new CABC and asphalt pavement, installation of stand-up curbing, restriping, yard inlet and piping, landscaping, and miscellaneous items at the existing parking lot and adjacent drive at the baseball field to the south of the main school building. There will be no refund to any party for Contract Documents so obtained. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any BID if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of, such BIDDER fails to satisfy the OWNER that such BIDDER is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the Agreement and to complete the WORK contemplated therein. Each bidder must be appropriately licensed as a Contractor in the State of North Carolina as provided in General Statutes Chapter 87. Each bidder shall make positive efforts to use small and minority owned business enterprises on this project.
