Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Channahon, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
I&M Canal Gateway The Village of Channahon does hereby invite sealed bids for I&M Canal Gateway. Work will include site clearing, earthwork operations, drinking fountain and appurtenances, storm sewerage, permeable pavers, asphalt paving, concrete curbs, walks and paving, site furnishings, playfield equipment, planting and seeding, and lighting installation. All bidders will be required to submit Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Village of Channahon. The Village of Channahon reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all proposals, or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may be withdrawn until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the Village of Channahon. The Village of Channahon encourages minority business firms to submit bids on this project and the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction. The contractor(s) selected will also be required to comply with all federal, state and local laws, rules, regulations and executive orders pertaining to equal employment opportunity.
