The Collier County Library located at 2385 Orange Blossom Drive, Naples Florida, 34109 has one waterway (650 total linear foot perimeter) with an aeration system and a floating fountain. The County requires a vendor to provide for fountain cleaning, aeration system maintenance, and vegetation control. Question Submission Deadline:September 6, 2024, 5:00pm The purchase order term, if an award is made is intended to be for a one-time purchase. Prices shall remain firm for the term of the resultant purchase order. NO EXCEPTIONS TO THE COUNTY'S PURCHASE ORDER TERMS AND CONDITIONS NOR A VENDOR PROVIDED CONTRACT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Surcharges will not be accepted in conjunction with this purchase order, and such charges should be incorporated into the pricing structure. All goods are FOB destination and must be suitably packed and prepared to secure the lowest transportation rates and to comply with all carrier regulations. Risk of loss of any goods sold hereunder shall transfer to the COUNTY at the time and place of delivery; provided that risk of loss prior to actual receipt of the goods by the COUNTY nonetheless remain with VENDOR. Fountain Cleaning and Aeration Maintenance Aquatic Weed Control: Vendor will inspect the pond one (1) time per month. Vendor will control and treat the pond for unwanted vegetation with the use of aquatic herbicides and aquatic surfactants as required. Shoreline Weed Control: Vendor will evaluate the shoreline for unwanted shoreline vegetation one (1) time per month. Vendor will control and treat the shoreline for unwanted vegetation with the use of aquatic herbicides and aquatic surfactants as required. Pond Algae Control: Vendor will inspect the pond for algae one (1) time per month. Vendor will control and treat algae with the use of algaecides, aquatic herbicides, and aquatic surfactants as required to control algae growth. Littoral Shelf Control (Approximately 6,500 Sq. ft): Vendor will be required to inspect and treat the Littoral areas as required to manage all nuisance and exotics species with the use of approved herbicides. Fountain Maintenance Service (7.5HP GeyserJet Floating Fountain): Vendor will service the fountain four (4) times per year on a quarterly basis. Maintenance services shall include, but not be limited to: Inspection and cleaning of the submerged pump Clean and maintain all lights and lenses. Clean surfaces of the float. Clean display heads, jets, and rings Replacement of bulbs as required. All necessary repairs (parts & labor) covered by warranty will be performed at no additional charge to Collier County. Vendor must seek approval from Collier County prior to completing any additional services not covered by the scope of work or replacement of parts not covered by warranty. Aeration System Maintenance: Vendor will service the Aeration Systems two (2) times per year on a semi-annual basis. Maintenance services shall include, but not be limited to: Ensure compressor maintains required air volume & pressure output. Replacement of external and internal air filters as required. Inspect and maintain aeration cabinet. Maintain diffuser assembly. Inspect and repair airline supply tubing and fittings. All necessary repairs (parts & labor) covered by warranty will be performed at no additional charge to Collier County. Vendor must seek approval from Collier County prior to completing any additional services not covered by the scope of work or replacement of parts not covered by warranty. Herbicides, algaecides, surfactants: Vendor will provide all required herbicides, algaecides, and surfactants at no additional expense to the County. General Qualifications: Vendor must be a licensed pesticide applicator in the state of Florida. All products used for treatment shall be EPA registered and safe for use. Use of application shall be consistent with labeling instructions. Vendor shall provide all equipment necessary to perform work to include but not limited to vehicles, boats, and materials. Vendor is responsible for any permits necessary to perform the work. Reports: A report shall be provided after each site visit.
