Texas A&M AgriLife Research is seeking bids for mechanical woody plant treatment at our Sonora Research Station. Bidders shall offer a unit price response for each line item in this bid. All questions must be received on or before September 11, 2024, at 3:00 p.m., central time. When deemed appropriate by the Agency, questions will be answered by bid addendum. TERMS AND CONDITIONS: By submitting a bid, the bidder agrees to comply with all Agency terms and conditions. These supersede any other terms and conditions issued by the bidder. GOVERNING LAW: Any contract resulting from this bid solicitation shall be construed and governed by the laws of the State of Texas. PAYMENT TERMS: Net 30 days after services are rendered or receipt of correct invoice, whichever is later. INSURANCE: The awarded vendor must provide a copy of their current certificate of insurance, showing the Agency as an additional insured (see exact wording necessary in bold in the Insurance Requirements attachment), before service can be performed. See attached Insurance Requirements for complete details. PROJECT COMPLETION: Any bid submitted should include estimated project completion for the service(s) being offered. Texas A&M AgriLife Research reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and technicalities, to accept the offer considered most advantageous and award the bid based on best value criteria. In determining what is the best value to the Agency, the Agency shall consider any or all of the following: o Purchase price o The reputation of the vendor and the vendor's goods or services. o The quality of the vendor's goods or services. o The extent to which the goods or services meet the agency's needs. o The vendor's past relationship with the Agency. o The total long-term cost to the Agency in acquiring the vendor's good or services. o The length and coverage of the vendor's warranty. o The delivery time. o Any other relevant factor that a private business entity might consider in selecting a vendor. The project site is located at the Texas A&M AgriLife, Sonora Research Station. Approximately 27 miles from either Sonora or Rocksprings, Texas on state highway 55. The station is approximately 90 miles south of San Angelo, or approximately 75 miles north of Del Rio. Sonora Station Coordinates: 30.26268- degree N, 100.56907 degree W. Treatments should be completed by no later than November 1, 2024 to avoid disruption of deer hunting and to allow for initiation of grazing by no later than December 1, 2024. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
