Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in West Babylon, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The work will be within the Final Effluent Pump Station and on the exterior area around the pump station and consists of the following: Replacement of the existing steel suction pipe and gate valves with stainless pipe and new gate valves plus associated structural, electrical and instrumentation work. The work will also include the inspection of the existing sluice gates in the pump stations and structural inspection of wet wells and channels. Civil work includes paving, grading, pipe and valve replacement and the installation of a new retaining wall. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total Base Bid, made payable to the Suffolk County Comptroller. This bid bond will be held as a guarantee that in the event the bid is accepted and contract awarded to the Bidder, the contract will be duly executed and properly secured.
