This is strictly market research to determine availability and adequacy of potential sources with the capabilities and experience to perform the required work. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for information received as a result of this announcement. Requests for solicitation will not receive a response. Project Description The General Services Administration (GSA), Great Lakes Region (Region 5), is seeking interest for the nitrogen generator and dry pipe replacement at the Kinneary U.S. Courthouse in Columbus, Ohio. This project involves the replacement of the existing air compressor and fire suppression dry piping, including necessary lead paint remediation and asbestos abatement. Piping replacement additionally includes cutting and patching of existing CMU and drywall partitions and painting of new fire suppression dry piping. Work in existing facilities shall correspond in all respects with the existing conditions to which it connects, or to similar existing conditions, in materials, workmanship, and finish. The construction cost (including all abatement) is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The performance period is roughly 140 calendar days. The NAICS code is 236220 with a small business standard of $45 million. Sensitivity to Historic Structures The Joseph P. Kinneary U.S. Courthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The National Historic Preservation Act and Secretary of the Interior's Standards will apply. Prior to beginning work, a building survey will be required to review sensitive areas and discuss treatment of related finish materials. Are you a small or large business If small business, indicate any and all applicable small business representation(s) (8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned, Women-Owned, etc.) Do you have bonding capability to cover 100% of the construction cost Include three projects completed within the last five years similar in size and scope to the work described above. Provide a customer point of contact for each project listed (telephone and email address). Indicate your intent to bid on a subsequent solicitation. Your submission should be no longer than 10 pages. Responses are due on 9/12/24 at 12 noon CST.
