Renovation of an educational facility in Columbus, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
This project is a replacement of the entire fire alarm system in Aquinas Hall. The existing system is a Simplex system installed 27 years ago. The current panel is obsolete, The devices within the building range in age from 15 to more than 20 years of age and all require replacement. The replacement Fire Alarm system will be installed parallel to the existing to maintain safety until winter break. During the winter break the occupants will be moved out of the building and then the old system can be demolished and the remaining elements of the new system installed for testing and inspection.
