Request for Proposals Congress Street The City of Rock Rapids, Iowa is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors for the repair of approximately 2000 square feet of Congress Street. The project involves installation of concrete pavement as concrete has been removed. The work to be performed under this contract shall include, but not be limited to, the following: Saw cutting edges for a clean finish Grading and preparation of the base Installation of 6 inches of concrete pavement with a crown on center Installation of joints pins every 2 along the intersection of Congress and First Avenue East. Traffic control and management during construction Work completed by November 15, 2024 Within the bid, please include the labor price per square foot as the footage is an estimate. The concrete for this project will come from Tri-State Ready Mix which the City will pay them directly, so do not include the cost within the bid.
