Description

Renovation of a water / sewer project in Chilliwack, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Chilliwack Creek pump station. This phase of the project would include preliminary design of the mechanical, electrical and structural upgrades, including assessment of conversion to a fish-friendly structure since Chilliwack Creek and many of its tributaries are salmon-bearing. TIMELINE: Request for expressions of interest from qualified proponents to provide preliminary engineering design services, is closed. The preliminary design would be suitable for delivery through a design-build project. This phase of the project would include preliminary design of the mechanical, electrical and structural upgrades, including assessment of conversion to a fish-friendly structure since Chilliwack Creek and many of its tributaries are salmon-bearing. A pre-selection process will be used to identify three (3) qualified Proponents to submit comprehensive Proposals for the Project. Further update in late spring 2025, upon approvals.
