The City of Alhambra is soliciting Proposals from qualified firms for professional engineering services for the design of the Fremont Pocket Park Project. The Fremont Pocket Park Project seeks to convert the vacant City-owned library annex building, which is approximately 2040 square feet, on an approximately 0.11-acre parcel at 2037 South Fremont Avenue into a "Pocket Park." The project will include the following: o Natural turf o Irrigation o Drinking Fountain o Fencing o Seating areas with shade cover o Walking path o California Native trees o Water re-capture features o Parking lot area o ADA accessible o Drought tolerant plants o Bike Parking Access Questions regarding this proposal shall be submitted in writing via email by 5:00 PM, Friday September 13, 2024 to Michael Macias, Director of Parks and Recreation, at mmacias@cityofalhambra.org. In response to all questions received by this date, City will issue an Addendum no later than 3 days prior to the proposal submittal due date. The addendum will be emailed to all RFP recipients on record, and posted on City's website under City Bid Notices/RFPs.
