Cyril E. King Airport North General Aviation Gut Clearing. Scope of Work Virgin Islands Port Authority's Aviation Division is seeking a qualified business or firm to provide a one time-cut to include, clearing and removal of vegetation and earth for an area of approximately thirteen hundred feet (1300) in length by approximately sixty (60) feet in width. The selected Contractor will be required to clear and remove all vegetation (including leaves, twigs, weeds, and branches) earth materials and other debris. The Contractor will be required to dispose of all vegetation and leave the area clean. The gutters shall be flushed and the down spouts tested for proper drainage. The Contractor will be required to ensure all safety protocols are met during the completion of these services. At completion of work, VIPA will perform its final inspection to ensure satisfaction of service and completion of contract terms. Business or firm must have experience in operating equipment within restricted areas at the Cyril E. King Airport. Work will be required to be performed after airport/aircraft operations. Access to restricted areas may require vendor to obtain a restricted area ID and establish a custom seal with United States Customs and Boarder Protection.
