The Virgin Islands Port Authority is seeking bids from qualified and licensed contractors for the buildout of the interior portion of the Air Alliance building approximately 2,080 sq. ft. The Air Aliance building will be utilized as a temporary Aircraft Rescue & Fire Fighting (ARFF) station located on the Authority's property at Cyril E. King Airport in Estate Lindbergh, St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands. The Authority encourages responses from Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) and local firms as individual entities and as multi-party entities. Any contract to be awarded as a result of this Request for Quote will be awarded without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex or national origin. The Authority reserves the right to impose additional or alternative selection criteria, as it deems necessary and reserves the right to make multiple awards for this requirement and/or to reject any or all bid. The Contractor shall be responsible for furnishing all labor, tools, materials, equipment, miscellaneous supplies, and services necessary to complete this project. All work shall comply with all applicable federal, state and United States Virgin Islands' rules, codes, ordinances, and regulations. Prices and payment of the contract items shall include full compensation for furnishing materials; for preparation, excavation, and installations of the materials; labor, equipment, tools and incidentals necessary to complete the items. All work indicated on the drawings and in the specifications, and any work not included but required shall be included in the items listed in the Bid Price Schedule. This item shall consist of all work related to the complete installation of a 3000 PSI reinforced generator slab for a 150 KW Perkins Generator (120/208V, 3F, 4W). Work includes but is not limited to excavation, installation of conduits, steel reinforcement, and concrete placement. Payment for this item shall be on a Lump Sum basis and include all labor, material, equipment etc. required for a complete and functional installation This item shall consist of all work related to any additional work that is not covered under the existing scope. Contractor is to notify VIPA engineering before any additional work is performed. Payment for this item shall be on a Lump Sum basis and include all labor, material, equipment etc. related to work.
