This Invitation for Bid (IFB) seeks construction bids to provide interior renovation work to existing office space on the first and second floor of the Soscol Gateway Transit Center located in Napa, California. The WORK includes: selective demolition concrete forming and reinforcement miscellaneous metal fabrications and framing rough carpentry and architecture woodwork thermal and moisture protection acoustical ceilings and finishes signage toilet and shower facilities plumbing window treatments office furnishings fire suppression heating, ventilating and air conditioning electrical electronic safety and security fire detection and alarm The WORK must be completed within Sixty (60) working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. The Bidder shall guarantee the total bid price for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of bid opening. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or approved Bid Bond in the amount stated in the Notice Inviting Bids. Said check or bond shall be made payable tothe AGENCY and shall be given as a guarantee that the Bidder, if awarded the WORK, will enter into an Agreement with the AGENCY and will furnish the necessary insurance certificates, Payment Bond, and Performance Bond. In case of refusal or failure to enter into said Agreement, the check or Bid Bond, as the case may be, shall be forfeited to the AGENCY. If the Bidder elects to furnish a Bid Bond as its Bid security, the Bidder shall usethe Bid Bond form bound herein. Bid Bonds shall comply with the requirements applicable to payment and performance bonds in the General Conditions Bids are required for the entire work described herein including all the alternatives in the Bid Schedule. A bidder will be considered non- responsive if any of the alternative bid items are omitted and will the cause of bid rejection. The AGENCY reserves the right to reject all or any part of all bids submitted, waive informalities and irregularities, and will not, to the extent allowed by law, be bound to accept the lowest bid.
