It is understood and agreed that should a bid/proposal be accepted, the detailed bid specifications in this document, including the instructions to bidders and the general terms and conditions, as well as the submitted bid/proposal shall all automatically by this reference become part of the purchase order, contract, agreement or addendum to any contract agreed upon. The roof is to be removed, as needed, and all debris and materials legally disposed of in compliance with applicable Federal, State or local rules and/or regulations. The successful bidder must supply the Town with copies of all landfill and disposal receipts where applicable. The successful bidder will supply all equipment, materials, fixtures, fittings and labor to remove and replace the roof, according to codes and manufacturers' specifications, where applicable. All proposals must meet related code specifications, including but not limited to Health and Safety standards. All work must meet the requirements of the Brookfield Building Department and comply with all State and Federal codes. The successful bidder is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits. The Town of Brookfield will waive local Town fees but cannot waive any other third party fees. The scope of work is to include but not limited to the following: Removal and disposal of existing roofing materials Examine roof decking and repair if needed Replace plumbing boots, as required Assess requirement of roofing underlayment Repair or replace water proofing and ice shields, as needed Repair or replace flashing and guttering, as needed Install replacement shingles - same type and color as existing shingles Clear and dispose of all debris
