The West Virginia Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation (DCR), on behalf of Lakin Correctional Center and Jail (LCC&J), to establish a contract for a lump sum quotation for the lightning protection, grounding, and bonding project. The facility is located at 11264 Ohio River Rd, West Columbia, WV 25287 in Mason County. Question Deadline 09/11/2024 at 2:00 PM ET Project Description: Project consists of: 1. Installation of a UL Master Labeled air terminal system throughout the existing womens prison facilities; installation of a harmonic control unit; installation of an improved grounding electrode system; installation of hybrid surge protection devices; installation of an active lightning detection system on the roof of the existing main building; construction of remedial measures where the existing electrical systems being modified are in disrepair; selective demolition of existing electrical wiring and equipment; and restoration of all site features after boring, trenching, and backfilling activities are completed.
