Site work and new construction of a parking garage in Longueuil, Quebec. Design plans call for the construction of a 670,000-square-foot, two-story above grade, one-story below grade parking garage; parking garage; and parking garage.

Taking into consideration that the two buildings located on the site of the Saint-Huber Operating Centre (CESH) cannot be used and equipped with the equipment needed to recharge electric buses, the owner plans the construction of a new garage on the CESH site. The scope of the project includes the construction of a new garage to accommodate a fleet of between 215 and 225 electrically powered buses and installation of approximately 116 charging stations. Subsequent phases, excluded from this mandate, will consist of the demolition of the CESH G2 garage and the construction of an extension to accommodate approximately one hundred additional charging stations. It is expected that the structure will have an area of approximately 25,000 m2 in basement, approximately 25,000 m2 in mezzanine and approximately 12,000 m2 on the ground floor. The project will obtain the basic LEED certification. TIMELINE: Preliminary studies and conceptual planning are underway. The project is included in the list of major project of the Quebec Treasury Board Secretariat under the number 633. Schedules of further project development are being finalized. Note. The mission of professional consultant includes two packages: - Package 1: Completion of preliminary studies as well as the plans and specifications for phase 1 of the project; - Package 2: Services relating to the construction phase, the supervision of construction works and the closing of phase 1 of the Project. Notwithstanding any authorization or approval given following the issuance of a Notice of Award, the owner reserves the right, upon final acceptance of Package 1, to refuse to continue the services of Package 2. - The awarded professional consultant the Bouthillette Parizeau - BPA has created a special subdivision Groupe SyBEL for the preparation of this major project. - The firm CIMA + was awarded to provide services of a construction consultant following the request for proposals P24-051.
