The scope of the project includes the construction of a new garage to accommodate a fleet of between 215 and 225 electrically powered buses and installation of approximately 116 charging stations. It is expected that the structure will have an area of approximately 25,000 m2 in basement, approximately 25,000 m2 in mezzanine and approximately 12,000 m2 on the ground floor. The project will obtain the basic LEED certification. Note. Subsequent phases, excluded from this mandate, will consist of the demolition of the CESH G2 garage and the construction of an extension to accommodate approximately one hundred additional charging stations. TIMELINE: Following the request for proposals P24-051 the owner has awarded the firm CIMA + to provide services of a construction consultant.
