The Logan County Land Reutilization Corporation (aka "LCLRC" or Land Bank") is now accepting sealed bids for the State of Ohio Building Demolition and Site Revitalization Program. Each bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in an amount of 100% of the bid amount with a surety satisfactory to the aforesaid Logan County Land Reutilization Corporation (LCLRC) or by certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit upon a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the bid amount in favor of the aforesaid Logan County Land Reutilization Corporation. Bid Bonds shall be accompanied by Proof of Authority of the official or agent signing the bond. This project is funded by the Building Demolition and Site Revitalization Program through the Ohio Department of Development. Therefore, the contractor must comply with state prevailing wages, Equal Employment Opportunity laws, and state and federal Fair Labor Standards. The bid packet contains insurance requirements, equal opportunity provisions, drug-free workplace requirements, environmental concerns, etc. Asbestos remediation will be bid in a separate RFP. The bidder, by submission of a bid, agrees to commence work on the day the award notice is given and to fully complete the project within the timeframe to be agreed upon. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening. The LCLRC reserves the right to disqualify any bidder that does not meet the specifications and requirements set out in this packet.
