Valentine Community Schools is accepting bids for snow removal for the 2024-2025 school year. Snow removal includes Valentine Elementary, Valentine Middle, and Valentine High School. Bids should include an hourly rate and kind of equipment that is to be used. *All snow removal areas need to be clean by 7:00 a.m. and all snow moved to designated areas. Snow Removal Areas for Valentine High School: 1. Parking lot 2. Parking area near east entrance 3. Kitchen driveway area 4. West Gym entrance area 5. Sidewalk areas as determined Snow Removal Areas for Valentine Middle School: 1. Parking area on east side of building 2. Parking area on west side of gymnasium including street parking 3. Street parking on north side of gym and middle school building 4. Perimeter sidewalks 5. North entry area 6. East entry area 7. South entry area 8. North gym entry area 9. Sidewalk areas as determined Snow removal areas for Valentine Elementary School: 1. Parking lot 2. East entry area 3. North entry area 4. South entry area 5. Both west entry areas 6. Perimeter sidewalks including west sidewalk between 4th and 5th street 7. South entry sidewalk to the court area 8. Tennis and basketball courts 9. Sidewalk areas as determined The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all offers. The decision of the Board will be final.
