ELLA WAY WELL PROJECT the Work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, tax, equipment, and services for the construction and completion of the following work all within the existing District's property at 8030 Ella Way. The work to be completed includes but is not limited to, constructing all above-ground appurtenances for a new groundwater production well including, a block building; sewer, distribution, storm drain, and system piping; pump and motor; site drainage improvements; new pavement; concrete perimeter security wall and steel fencing The successful bidder will be required to furnish the District with a Performance Bond equal to 100% of the successful bid, and a Payment Bond equal to 100% of the successful bid, prior to execution of the Contract. All bonds are to be secured from a surety that meets all of the State of California bonding requirements, as defined in Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120, and is admitted by the State of California. The Work involves federal funds or otherwise requires compliance with the Davis-Bacon Fair Labor Standards Act, therefore, the Contractor and all its subcontractors shall pay the higher of the state or federal prevailing wage rates, or as otherwise required by law. Award of Contract: The District shall award the Contract for the Project to the lowest responsible bidder as determined from the Base Bid by the District. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or the bidding process.
