The work generally consists of the following: The project is located within the drainage easement between Jackmar Rd. (south) and Idlewild Dr. (north) and west of Pinehurst Rd in the City of Dunedin. The project consists of the removal and replacement of approximately 720 feet of existing Gabion baskets and bottom mats. The Engineers Estimate for the project is $1,066,685.00 The time allotted for this project is 120 days for substantial completion. All contractor Requests for Information (RFI) must be submitted ten (10) days before the bid opening. The request should be sent in writing via email to purchasing@dunedinfl.net. The City will not respond to RFIs submitted after that date. The City reserves the right to modify this schedule at any time. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or a cashiers check or an acceptable bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid. No proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days without the consent of the City. The City of Dunedin, Florida reserves the right to reject any and all bids received, to waive any irregularities or informalities, to re-advertise and to award the Contract in its best interest.
