Renovation of a mixed-use development in Baddeck, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Municipality of the County of Victoria is requesting quotations from qualified contractors to replace current electric baseboard heaters and space heaters with heat pumps. Estimated Duration of Contract (months): 2 Scope of Work 3.1.1 The successful proponent is responsible for ensuring current electric panels at all locations are sufficient to support a heat pump unit. If electrical panel upgrades are required, please indicate the location, and price for materials and labour to perform the upgrades. 3.1.2 The successful proponent is responsible for the supply and installation of cold climate/high efficiency heat pumps, including the outdoor condensing unit, surge protection where needed, insulated refrigerant piping, control wire, drain line, white PVC pipe enclosure for the exterior of the buildings and the condensing units must be mounted on an aluminum wall bracket or snow stand as required.
