Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Gallatin, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the construction of a 4,000-square-foot clubhouse / community center; for site work for a clubhouse / community center; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Questions about the project will only be addressed via email with jcherry@woldae. com and, if necessary, an addendum will be issued timely. Deadline for questions is Monday, September 23 by 2 p.m. This project includes selective demolition along with a new, approximately 4,000 square foot community center, site improvements, an expanded parking lot, and new pavilions at Clearview Park. Refer to Section 01 23 00 for Alternates. Make proposals on the bid forms supplied in the Project Manual. No oral, telegraphic, or telephonic proposals or modifications will be considered. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis; segregated bids will not be accepted. Submit with each bid, a certified check or acceptable bidders bond payable to the City of Gallatin in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Performance Bond. Bidders are required to present evidence of proper licensure per State Contractors Li- censing Law. Bids may not be withdrawn within ninety (90) days after the scheduled time of opening bids, without the consent of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid or reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding. Contracts for work under this bid will obligate the Contractor and subcontractors not to discriminate in employment practices. It is the policy of the City of Gallatin to ensure compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; 49 CFR, Part 21; related statutes and regulations to the end that no person shall be excluded from participation in or be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity on the grounds of race, color, sex, age, disability or national origin. Owner requires the project to be completed 275 days (approx. 9 months) following receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
