The City of Arcata (City) is soliciting bids for the L K WOOD & CALIFORNIA DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS Project. The Project includes replacement of a 12" diameter storm drain with 18" diameter storm drain and associated restoration of impacted pavement and landscaping in Arcata, California. The Work consists of removal of 12" RCP and HDPE storm drain and two existing drainage inlets, adjustment of an existing drainage inlet, installation of two 2' x 3' drainage inlets, installation of 79 linear feet of 18" HDPE and 12 linear feet of 12" RCP storm drain and connections to existing infrastructure, restoration of impacted concrete pavement and landscape areas and adjustment of existing utilities. Work will include coordination with PGE and trenching to expose an existing 1" gas service for PG&E to adjust below the new storm drain and backfill to restore the trench. The estimated duration of this project is projected to be between October 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024. All responses must be made on the "Bid Proposal and Schedule" provided in Attachment B to be considered for award. The City of Arcata has determined that prevailing wages apply to this Project. The selected contractor must register with the State Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5 prior to award of a contract.
