The project site is the launch ramp located at the Small Craft Harbours, Gros Cap facility (46 31'39.7"N 84 34'57.0"W). Gros Cap is located approximately 21km West of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. The purpose of this project is to replace the existing launch ramp and place new concrete anchor blocks. This is the first phase (Phase 1) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all bidders; second phase (Phase 2) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. Upon award of contract in Phase Two the pre-qualification list will be terminated, no additional contracts will be awarded. The work under this contract covers: 1. Removal of existing precast concrete launch ramp (Approx. 60 m2). 2. Removal of existing cast in place concrete approach (Approx. 55 m2). 3. Supply and Installation of new pre-cast concrete launch ramp 4. Supply and installation of new cast in place concrete approach 5.
