This project includes planting 27 Street Trees at various locations within the City of Sycamore. This work shall consist of furnishing and planting 2 1/2" diameter shade trees (measured 6" above the ground line) in the parkway or in the front yards of various properties in Sycamore. For bidding purposes, the trees are being placed into two categories as indicated below: GROUP "A" TREES - 2 1/2" DIAMETER - (Planted in grass parkways and front yards) 1. Kentucky Coffee Tree GROUP "B" TREES - 2 1/2" DIAMETER - (Planted in grass parkways and front yards) 1. Skyline Honeylocust 2. State Street Miyabe Maple 3. Sienna Glen Maple 4. Marmo Freeman Maple 5. Autumn Fantasy Maple 6. Common Hackberry 7. Triumph Elm Contact Person: bids@cityofsycamore.com Pre-bid Meeting: None The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive or not to waive any informalities therein. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive or not to waive any informalities therein and to select the bid which is in the best interest of the City of Sycamore. No bid security is required for this project. No performance or payment bonds are required for this project. The successful bidder shall be given a list of the trees to be planted by October 11, 2024. All trees shall be planted by November 15, 2024, unless otherwise approved by the City of Sycamore
