Work generally includes asphalt paving, asphalt color coat, concrete paving, concrete sloped entry, sloped entry with curb, crushed limestone trail, integral curb at walk, curb at playground, engineered wood fiber, playground equipment, picnic shelter, bench, picnic table, game table, playground underdrainage, drain cleanout, mitered drain, shade trees, evergreen trees, native seed mix, and lawn restoration. Specifications require the submittal of a 10% Bid Surety with the proposal. In addition, the successful contractor(s) must be able to provide a satisfactory Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond, and required proof of insurance following the award of a contract The Sycamore Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities on a bid, and to accept the lowest responsible bid that serves the best interests of the Park District. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
