On-Call Pump Maintenance & Repair Services Contractor shall perform pump maintenance and repair services in County buildings. The primary systems that the pumps serve are boilers, chillers, sumps and sewer systems. Prevailing Wage Rates (PWR) apply to this project for on-site work. Contractor shall comply fully with the provisions of ORS 279C.800 through 279C.870. The Contractor shall pay workers at no less than the specified minimum hourly rate of wage as provided in the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI) publication titled "Prevailing Wage Rates for Public Works Contracts in Oregon, which is incorporated herein by reference, online. Bidders may also request a copy of the Prevailing Wage Rates and rules by calling the Bureau of Labor and Industries at (971) 673-0838. Contract may be adjusted annually. All prices must be held firm for the first twelve (12) months of the contract. Subsequently, any Contractor requested price increases shall be submitted, in writing, to the County no less than sixty (60) days prior to the proposed date of change. Price increases are limited to a single request during any consecutive twelve (12) month period, and may not exceed the lesser of the U.S. Department of Labor Consumer Price Index for A Urban Consumers (CPI-U), U.S., or three percent (3%). The County reserves the right to reject any requested price modifications that are unacceptable to the County. Fixed term. The contract term shall be for a maximum of five (5) years. The termination date of all contracts issued under this ITB shall be five (5) years from the initial contract execution, unless earlier terminated. A Bid Bond will not be required for this solicitation. Performance and payment bonds will not be required for this contract. CONTRACT AWARD As a result of this sourcing event process, Multnomah County intends to award multiple contracts to the lowest bidders who meet minimum requirements. There is no guarantee for specific items to be needed over the life of the contract. The awards will be made on the lowest prices provided for the Sample Project Total.
