The purpose of this Request for Proposal RFP is to solicit sealed proposals from qualified Offerors to establish term contracts, through competitive negotiations to provide professional architectural-engineering A-E consulting, construction-project administration-management, and related services for Hanover County, Virginia. Services shall be provided on an as needed basis. The A-E represents that all services shall be performed in accordance with generally acceptable professional standards in association to commercial projects for institutional owners and further represents that the advice and consultation provided be within its authority and capacity as a professional. Services shall be inclusive of all costs, i.e. supervision, labor, materials, tools-supplies, equipment, transportation, etc., including profit, overhead, administration, etc. All work shall be provided under the supervision of a professional A-E licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia to perform evaluations, inspections, investigations, analysis and recommendations, feasibility studies, code compliance, project design-drawing, cost and time estimates, reports, etc. Services may also include, structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, fire protection, and other engineering services.
