Renovation of an educational facility in Lindenwold, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The project consists of the partial roofing replacement at the Lindenwold Middle School. The Work includes, but is not limited to, limited asbestos abatement and the removal and replacement of the existing roofing systems with a new SBS modified bitumen roofing system, standing seam metal roofing, gutters, roof leaders, scuppers. Work also includes selected demolition of existing building components. The NJSDA, the Financing Authority, the Office of the Attorney General, the Office of the State Comptroller, the Department, DCA, LWD, and their duly authorized agents may, at their discretion and cost, investigate, audit, examine, and inspect the activities, documents, work product arising from audits, records, and accounts (pertaining to the School Facilities Project) of the District and all other parties involved with the Project. The Contractor who is awarded the Contract, shall be required to comply with all requirements of the Grant, including but not limited to, execution of all documents required for the Owner to comply with the Grant requirements and to obtain reimbursement of project costs from the NJSDA. Bidders must be prequalified by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Department of Property and Management Construction, prior to the date that bids are received. Any bids submitted under the terms of New Jersey Statutes not including a copy of a valid and active Pre-qualified/Classification Certificate and New Jersey Department of Labor Contractor Registration Certificate may be rejected as being non-responsive to bid requirements. In accordance with N.J.S.A 18A:18A-18, this Project is to be constructed as a single General Construction Bid (DPMC Classification C008 General Construction or C009-General Contractor Alterations & Additions) for all the work, goods, and services required to complete the public building to be included in the single contract. The General Contractor must be qualified in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-1 et seq. If required by the Work, the following DPMC-Classified Trade Subcontractors) are required for this Project and must be submitted at the time of the bid submission. The listed trade subcontractors below must be qualified in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-1 et seq. C029 Structural Steel and Ornamental Iron. C030 Plumbing, Gas Fitting and all kindred work. C032 Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration and equipment (HVACr). C047 Electrical. The following DPMC-Classified Trade Subcontractors are required for this Project. C068 Roofing-Membrane Modified Bitumen. C071 Roofing-Metal. C092 Asbestos Removal/Treatment The Bidder assumes full responsibility for appropriate delivery (via whatever means, including mail) on or before the designated time and to the designated location. If the bid for this Project is to be mailed, the bid envelope shall clearly reference the "ROOFING REPLACEMENT - LINDENWOLD MIDDLE SCHOOL BID PROPOSAL" on the outside of the envelope. The Lindenwold Board of Education is not responsible for any bids that fail to be delivered on or before the designated time, and to the designated location specified by this advertisement, regardless of fault. Electronic (email) submissions will not be accepted. (Ryebread) assume no responsibility for bids mailed or misdirected in delivery. Bidders shall note that the Lindenwold Board of Education, RYEBREAD, and its consultants shall not be responsible for the Bidder's procurement of the Bidding Documents from third party agencies as the information and documents provided by these agencies may be incomplete and/or inaccurate. Furthermore, the Lindenwold Board of Education, RYEBREAD and its consultants shall not be responsible for error and omissions published by third party agencies. Bid documents will not be available at the pre-bid conference. Bidders shall note that long-lead shop drawings are required to be initiated immediately after the issuance of the Section 007100 Notice to Proceed so that those items can be ordered as soon as possible. Construction shall begin on or about 20 June 2025 and shall be substantially completed on or before 18 August 2025 and all Punch List items completed by no later than 29 August 2025. Bids must be made upon Specification Section 002000, FORM OF BID and shall include a certified check, cashier's check, or by Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Lindenwold Board of Education in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid but in no case in excess of $20,000.00. The bid shall also be accompanied by an executed Consent of Surety in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-25, agreeing to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the stated principal amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, and a two-year Maintenance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Contract for work under these bids the higher of the N.J.S.A. 34:11-56(a) et. seq., (2) comply with equal opportunity laws in accordance with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq., (3) comply with Affirmative Action laws in accordance with N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq. and comply with Exhibit B of the Department of the Treasury, Guidelines for Administering EEO in Public Contracts, (4) provide ownership disclosure information per N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2, (5) comply with New Jersey Business Registration laws in accordance with N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 and (6) comply with any and all successors, amendments, or additions thereto. Bidders must comply with all requirements set for in the NJSDA Grant Agreement. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of the State of New Jersey Public School Contract Law, N.J.S.A. Title 18A:18A. The withdrawal or modification to a Bid after the bid opening is not permitted. All bid security, except for the security of the three apparent lowest responsible Prime Bidders shall, if requested, be returned after ten days from the opening of the bids, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays excepted, and the bids of such Prime Bidders shall be considered as withdrawn. The Lindenwold Board of Education will return the remaining Bidders security in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-36(a). Bidders who have received the bidding documents must submit substitution requests or any questions concerning the project to Regan Young England Butera The Lindenwold Board of Education has the right to award the contracts within sixty (60) days of the bid opening and reserves the right to reject all bids in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-22 and to waive minor informalities or non-material exceptions, as may be permitted by law. Bidders are advised that the Lindenwold Board of Education reserves the right to cancel this Project at any time due to any unforeseen circumstances that arise in connection with any Public Health Emergency and funding related to same. By submitting a bid, Prime Bidders waive, on behalf of themselves and their Subcontractors, any potential claim for increased costs, loss of profits, delay damages, or other similar consequential and direct damages incurred due to the Lindenwold Board of Education Termination of the Project as permitted by law Inquiries: Inquiries shall be directed to: Scott England, AIA Regan Young England Butera, PC 456 High Street Mt.
