This work shall consist of the supply and application of a bituminous emulsion as a tack coat on an existing asphaltic concrete surface or on a Portland cement concrete surface. This work shall consist of supply, placement, and compaction of asphaltic concrete for the resurfacing and rehabilitation of City streets. This work includes the removal of asphalt sections and the replacement with Class A granular and Base Asphalt Concrete, as directed by the Owner. This work shall consist of the adjustment of catch basins, manholes, and water valves to finished grade requirements. This work consists of milled key areas at the start and end of all overlay sections, at the intersection of all overlay streets, and other such major areas where construction seam will occur between new and old asphalt. Milled keys shall be constructed to the most current version of the Provincial specifications. This work consists of excavating, grading, and reshaping the shoulder area of roadways to ensure positive drainage from the cross-slope of the asphalt pavement, away from the centre line of the roadway to the ditch or storm system. This work includes the disposal of excavated materials. This work consists of the supply and installation (per manufacturers specifications) of an approved Geogrid product for soil stabilization. This work shall consist of the haul, placement, compaction, and grading of RAP as a replacement subbase material. This work shall consist of the installation of 450 mm dia. driveway culverts to allow stormwater f low to pass through driveway accesses. Work shall be carried out in accordance with Provincial Specifications. This work shall consist of the excavation and reshaping of ditches alongside roadways to ensure adequate stormwater storage and flow, including the disposal of all excavated materials.
