ARRC 1115 East Whitney - Electrical Removal & Relocation Work to be completed under this contract includes, but is not limited to; mobilization, excavation, electrical trenching, installation of new step-down transformer, relocate electrical services and meters for 1101 E. Whitney Road and ARRC light pole and signal shack, install electrical conduits and wiring, install junction box which feeds the underground cable leading to the light plant and scale shack, relocate fuel tank, and provide red-line as-built record drawings. Chugach Electric Association Inc. (CEA) to provide equipment, materials, supervision, and labor required to install the southern line reconnecting 1201 E. Whitney Road as shown on the Plans, as well as the transformer shown on E001 of the Plans, noted NEW PAD-MOUNTED UTILITY XFMR. 150KVA, 3-PH 480Y/277V and the conductors and conduits connecting the relocated service disconnect and meter for the building at 1101 E. Whitney with the transformer, as well as the line from the new transformer to the new service disconnect and meter, as shown on E100 of the Plans. CEA will also provide all equipment, materials, supervision, and labor required to connect this transformer with the city grid. Coordination will be required between Contractor, Owner, New Sagaya warehouse at 1101 E Whitney Road, and CEA as the utility provider on timing of tasks and confirmation of availability of crew and material resources to limit shut-down times for adjacent buildings. The swap over to new power for 1101 E. Whitney Road (New Sagaya) will have to occur on a Saturday or Sunday, and because of the storage of frozen goods at the property, the building can be without power for no more than 12 hours consecutively. Notice for the timing of this activity must be provided to New Sagaya no less than 14 days before the swap over occurs. If the shutdown is anticipated to take longer than the 12-hour window, temporary power must be provided to maintain the freezers temperature. Bid Security: In accordance with ARRC Procurement Rule 1200.4, all Bids shall be accompanied by bid security in the form of a cashier's check or an acceptable Bid Bond, a form of which is provided herein, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid price.
