January 1, 2025 Contracted work begins The City of Oxnard is seeking a qualified Service Provider to supply and deliver propane to various City Departments and Divisions. The City reserves the right to add or subtract service locations throughout the term of the agreement. The Service Provider shall be able to transport propane safely and efficiently to the requested locations. All delivery vehicles and equipment shall be well-maintained and compliant with safety regulations. Safety protocols should be followed during the delivery process to minimize risk. Service Provider shall comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing propane storage, transportation, and distribution. Service Provider will be required to maintain appropriate permits and licenses for propane supply, distributorship and delivery operations. Service Provider shall provide propane supply within 24 hours (not three 8-hour business days) or the next business day of the request. The City reserves the right to add or delete delivery sites and fuel types as needed during the course of the Agreement. Please contact City staff regarding City observed holidays for facilities that are closed. The Service Provider shall provide pricing for the products and services requested as well as provide pricing for all other product offerings in their purview. Propane shall be provided for different City departments/divisions. The period of performance anticipated for this solicitation shall be for a period of up to five (5) years beginning, (January 1, 2025) or effective upon signature of an Agreement by both parties, through (December 31, 2025), unless terminated earlier. After the first year, and each year thereafter, the City shall have the option to extend the term pursuant to the Agreement, upon mutually acceptable services, cost adjustments, and the City requirements. There is no obligation by the City to purchase any specified amount of goods or services.
