Underground and Aboveground Storage Tanks Repair and Maintenance Services The Prince William Board of County Supervisors is issuing a Request for Information to gauge interest from qualified parties to provide services for Bulk Fuel Storage Tank Inspection, Tank Maintenance, and Tank Repair Services. Prince William County Office of Risk and Welfare Services would like to meet with interested vendors to hear their ideas on how the County can best structure the pricing schedule while still complying with the Virginia Public Procurement Act, Code of Virginia 2.2-4331, of a future Invitation for Bids (IFB) for aboveground and underground storage tank repair and maintenance services. The County maintains over 160 aboveground diesel and gasoline storage tanks at approximately 50 different sites located at police stations, fire stations, Facilities and Fleet Management facilities, Public Works facilities, and Parks & Recreation facilities. There are several large fuel storage tanks associated with the County's fueling sites and large generator systems, with the largest being a 12,500-gallon gasoline aboveground storage tank. Most of the County's fuel storage tanks are under 1,000 gallons in capacity and serve to refuel onsite vehicles and equipment. This contract will be used to primarily service the fuel storage tanks under 1,000 gallons. Information on size and location would be provided when a specific project is identified. The County is looking at a fair market price.
