Demolition, site work, new construction and renovation of an educational facility in Los Angeles, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for the construction of a 1,956-square-foot educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and for the renovation of a educational facility.

Subject to conditions prescribed by the University of California, Los Angeles, sealed bids for a Lump Sum contract are invited for the following work: MP200 Suite 202 Speech Pathology Clinic The project would reconfigure approximately 1,956 gsf of office space on the second floor of 200 Medical Plaza (MP 200) to create a new Speech Pathology clinic providing speech therapy services. The renovated clinic will be licensed and include seven (7) exam rooms, one (1) waiting room for six to eight occupants, one (1) reception area, one (1) nurse station, one (1) patient toilet (M/W), one (1) clean holding room, one (1) soiled holding room and one (1) staff break area. The scope of work includes the demolition of improvements in the way of work; modifications to the building mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems to support the program; modifications to the fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems impacted by the project; the construction of new non-structural walls, millwork, sinks and restroom; the provision of new T-bar and drywall ceilings and lighting; the provision of conduit and cabling for telephone, data and security systems; and the provision of casework and finishes. Work will be limited to night and weekend hours. The estimated construction cost is $1,890,000.00. Only bidders who participate in both the Conference and the Job Walk, in their entirety, will be allowed to bid on the Project as prime contractors.
