Renovation of a water / sewer project in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Design plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Fort McMurray Wastewater Treatment Plant Process Improvement. This project is expected to address obsolete equipment and component life cycling, including improvements to safety and operational resilience. Scope of work includes pre-design and design of the following: Plant Motor Control Centre (MCC)/ Variable Frequency Drive (VFD)/ Motor Starters; Grit pumps suction line upgrades; Scrubber room pump area upgrades; Compost supply air; Fine Screen Replacement; Scrubber Bypass; Bioreactors, Primary and Secondary clarifiers Access Upgrades. TIMELINE: Project is in design. Replacement of the MCC is expected to begin in 2027. The entire project will be divided info five construction phases - as part of a single construction contract.
